Acetal Sheet Acetal sheet is a strong and stiff plastic that is very easy to machine and due to its low hydroscopic nature can be used where component accuracy is significant. Acetal sheet is also particularly good for slide ways and for contact with food.

Max Working Temp Long term = 110°C, Short term = 140°C, Ball indentation hardness = 140 N/mm2, Melting temp = 165°C. Did you Know Acetal sheet is now commonly used as guitar picks and can conform over time to the players grip. Acetal was also used in the production of low friction toy car wheels, diving equipment and body piercing jewellery.
